The world bows before the biggest football in the universe!
The World Cup will come back to South America after 33 years, since Argentina hosted the event in 1978. The event will be a world-wide competition of football and will take place in Brazil in 2014 and promises to be one of the most remarkable events of all time.
"A Copa de 2014 é nossa!" The FIFA World Cup is making a triumphant return to the country that brought the world Pelé, Ronaldo and the most electrifying style of football worldwide! The five time world champions, Brazil, will host the Cup for a second time in 2014 and the festa has already begun! The Brazilian team has played in every World Cup since its inaugural tournament in 1930 and the 2014 Cup promises to be one of the most remarkable Cups yet!
Consistent with the FIFA rotation system, South America got the right to host the 2014 World Cup after 36 years, when Argentina last hosted the event in 1978. On 30th October 2007, FIFA announced Brazil would again be the host nation for the beautiful game's most esteemed competition.
For Brazil, the 2014 World Cup is a great chance to increase upgrading and to present not only its organization capacity but its economic force to leverage investments. The numerous attractions can transform the country into one of the most important tourist destinations of the world in the next future.
Wherever you go, a beach or a village in the middle of the jungle, you will always find green lawns, a goal, a ball and at least two teams of football. In the major cities, it is possible to get to know the main stadiums; to hang out to specialized soccer bars and also to visit the first museum of soccer in Brazil, currently the Pacaembu Stadium in São Paulo.
With the arrangements for 2014 World Cup, the Brazilian capitals are running to prepare its stadiums. Racing for the opening game, are Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Brasília.
